To put it simply, online tutoring operates in the same way that a regular tutoring session operates. It is live, interactive and face to face (via webcam). Better yet, our software enables the tutor and learner to work collaboratively. This approach, where work is put on an interactive whiteboard that both users can access, means that we can work together in realtime to enhance understanding. A huge percentage of students prefer this approach, as it is hands on and allows both users to work toward a common goal of understanding content. Our ATAR students also love the interactive nature of online learning, as we can break down assessment requirements and components to ensure the best results possible.

As mentioned, online tutoring is online and face to face, using our highly interactive software. The tutor or student can place work on an interactive whiteboard that both users can work on collaboratively. This could be snippets of an English assessment (for senior students) or personalised learning tasks to enhance understanding (for primary students). Where we are different however, is that All Star Tutoring is owned and operated by a qualified and experienced teacher. As the owner of All Star Tutoring, I have worked across Primary, Secondary and Special Education settings. This means that I am able to cater to diverse learning styles, understand inclusion and more importantly, how to create highly individualised learning programs for each and every student. In secondary settings, I am highly experienced in English (including senior English) and understand the marking guidelines and criteria of assessments in years 7-12. When senior students come to me for individualised support with assessment, not only do I have experience teaching the content, but I also have experience marking and moderating the content. This means I am able to offer guidance and support to students, whether it be to help increase grades, enhance understanding or seek assessment support. In addition to the above, we aim to cater to students in a holistic and inclusive manner. Inclusivity is at the core of what we do. We believe that connection enhances learning, confidence and understanding. Above all, we love what we do and care about our learners. Yes! In fact, every single class we run is individualised to your learners needs. We do not run pre-set programs as these do not cater to your student specifically. We listen to the needs and goals of our learners, and create a path forward together. Some students require support for diverse learning needs and just want to increase confidence and understanding.
